It was dark and cramped as Grawk was toted around in a large leather sack with steal wiring. Grawk tried to break free with all his might but could not. He had no leverage and was tired from the journey. Where was he heading and why was he taken from his home in the mountains.
Days past when he heard the cart wheels stop. The sack he was being held captive in swayed back and forth. Grawk began to growl. He felt the sack being lifted and carreied away. Grawk started to struggle again.
The arena cheered as they awaited the next battle. The bodies from the previous one were just being cleared. When the doors of the arena opened the crowed cheered louder. Grawk stopped moving when he heard the cheers. He was now frightened. He did not like people very well, for good reason too.
Four very large men came out of the area doors. On there shoulders were large sticks crossed back to men behind or in front of them. In the middle of the cross was a thick burlap sack dangling over the earth.
The four men stopped and set the bag down. The second the bag touched the ground, Grawk started to struggle. The four men backed away suddenly, then went back in and removed the large sticks. Alls that was left was the bag. One man went next to the bag and untied it. The second it was untied the men backed off and started running towards the arena doors.
Grawk burst out from the bag and leaped out onto the dirt floor and quickly looked around himself. There were hundreds, upon hundreds of people staring at him, all around him. Grawk started to panic and ran towards the Arena door where the four men were exiting. With one leap he latched himself to the back of one of the men. The door shut directly infront of him and the man and Grawk hit the ground and rolled.
The man quickly got up and picked up one of the large sticks and swung it at Grawk. The stick stopped as Grawk caught it in his mouth and with one mighty chomp the wood splintered and shattered into two peices. The man backed away in fear as his companions reopended the door and dragged him back in.
Grawk went for the door but was too late. He started pounding on the door until he realized it was hopeless. Grawk then looked around again, slighly paranoid.
The creature stood about three feet tall. His skin was made of rock and he had no hair. His feet and hands were strangly as big as his head and his mouth was almost a foot wide. His nostrils twiched as his hands were outstreached and ready for anything.
